Celebrate the history and stories of the Anzac (Australia and New Zealand Army Corp) with the HMCS ALBERNI Museum and Memorial (HAMM) in the annual Vancouver Island ANZAC DAY Commemoration. In association with 19 Wing Comox, HAMM caps off ANZAC WEEK with a memorial service at noon in the Officers Mess at CFB COMOX. Catch the memorial flyby with the Snowbirds as they pay homage to the Anzac on April 18th at 10:30 am over the rooftops of HAMM and downtown Courtenay. HAMM will also have special displays and films showing all week (ANZAC WEEK) in the museum location at 625 Cliffe Avenue.
PLEASE NOTE: Though admission to the VIAD is free to the public, you will need to obtain an authorized ticket at the Museum for each adult attending prior to the day of the event at the Base. You will be required to show this ticket as well as photo ID to enter the base for this event.
For ticket information, please contact the museum at 250-897-4611, email at [email protected], or visit in person at 625 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay (next to Tulio’s Restaurant.)
