*Special guest on bass, Port Alberni’s own John Dryden* Beverley McKeen and her superb band sail into town for Friday night’s Valentines Dance at Char’s Landing! Fresh from her 'Leonard Cohen Tribute' and hosting 'Gals Who Write Songs' at the Duncan Showroom, McKeen grabs her Gold Record Guitarist Ray Harvey, Beverley’s favourite percussionist in the world, Drum King Andy Okell, and the possibility of a sweet, local-flavour surprise if things can work out!

McKeen’s songs are folk, roots, country, rock, blues and jazz, and they may crossover. Her music isn’t usual, but the hooks are profoundly catchy.
