Since 1986, the members of the Lafayette String Quartet have divided their time between entertaining audiences all over North America and Europe and teaching some of Canada’s finest young string players.
Yariv Aloni is one of Victoria's most artistically involved musicians. He has performed in concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Centre in New York, the Louvre in Paris, Tonhalle in Zurich, and numerous stages in North America and Europe. Aloni is the Artistic Director of the Victoria Chamber Orchestra, the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra, principal guest conductor of the West Coast Symphony Orchestra in Vancouver and has recently been appointed Artistic Director of the Sooke Philharmonic.
