"Us and Them: Going to the Next Level" Screening & Fundraiser

Doors open 6:30 pm. Discussion and screening begins 7 pm.

Us and Them is a story about the documentarian's profound experience of befriending four homeless individuals that she hopes will make a difference in the lives of our community�s most vulnerable. This documentary aims to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes about homelessness, poverty, and addiction. The goal is to reach a broad spectrum of people in an engaging, funny, and powerful way, changing minds, opening hearts and inspiring action!

The evening will be emceed by local fave Stephen Andrew. Filmmaker Krista Loughton will discuss how she's taking her film to the next level with the mentorship of Jennifer Abbott. We will screen previous clips of work by Abbott as well as something new from US AND THEM! This will be followed by a question and answer session with Loughton and Abbott. The formal part of the evening will be complete by 8pm and will evolve into a relaxed meet-and-greet where people will have the opportunity to speak with Loughton and Abbott individually.

Doors are at 6:30 -- the talk and screening will start at 7pm.

The ticket price includes canap�s and cocktails by The Reef.

There will be a Silent Auction full of great things donated by local businesses and artists!

All profits from the film will be donated back to the street.
