Contemporary Dance led by Gabriel Guillaume

All experience levels, Intergenerational (14+)

In this class Guillaume will meet participants where they are. He will begin by leading us in a warm up focused on the qualities that prepare participants to explore the creative process that is used in developing work with the dancers of Compagnie Hervé Koubi. That is, our relationship with weight, the floor, and breadth of movement. Guillaume will teach accessible excerpts of the repertoire of the company, including an excerpt from What The Day Owes To The Night!

Guillaume Gabriel was born in the North of France. After studying management at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Marseille and starting a career in finance, Guillaume Gabriel began dancing at the age of 23, initially in Marseille and later at the École Supérieure de danse de Cannes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
