Urban Forests in your Neighbourhood: Urban Forest Walk

November 8 is Tree Appreciation Day.
HAT, FOUP and OakBay will be hosting a tree planting event and Urban Forest Walk. The planting event will start at 10am, meeting at the Uplands Sign on Beach Dr. The Urban Forest Walk will start at 11:00am-1pm, meeting again at Uplands Park sign on Beach Dr.
The walk in Uplands Park will be led by HAT and FOUP and the walk in Uplands, the first development in Canada to consider the urban forest landscape, will be led by Uplands expert Dr. Larry McCann of Uvic.
