What has dance become in the age of YouTube, Facebook and how-to web tutorials? Is it all about the perfect execution of a series of sick moves, instant gratification and social media bragging rights? Cyborg voices, dance tutorials, dance moms, YouTube personalities and chair improvisation collide in this digital dance collage; a collaboration between an intermedia artist and a classically trained dancer.

Based on the tenets of concentration, mindfulness, and visualization, okay.odd is a multimedia meditation session that guides you through a stream of consciousness. Don’t think. Part spiritual retreat and part commentary on our image-inundated affect-obsessed society, okay.odd is an invitation to encounter the version of you that you feel, but do not know.
