Ukulele Swing/Jazz Workshop & Concert with Uke's Misbehavin'

This Ukulele workshop is geared toward Early Intermediate to Intermediate Level.

Early Intermediate: you have been playing tunes and strumming and can move between chords changes and keep a beat. You're comfortable with C, F, G7, Bb and you have a few different strum patterns under your belt.

Intermediate: you know more chords maybe a scale or two and are ready to explore up the neck with some closed chord patterns and venture into the land of music theory.

In this workshop, we will be using a song as a vehicle to learn some “closed” “moveable” chord forms which will give interest to your songs, a couple of easy “open/closed” scales to improve your solos, and how to utilize some swing rhythms to bring your strumming to the next level. If time permits, we will demonstrate how to find and incorporate harmonies into your songs.

Be prepared for a fun filled afternoon followed by an intimate evening concert by your instructors.
