Ugandan Student Fundraiser Presents Naughty & Spice Burlesque

Naughty and Spice Burlesque Troupe will be performing at the QUEENS PUB for a fundraiser in support of students of the Human Security and Peacebuilding program (HSPB) at Royal Roads University.
The HSPB program responds to the increasing demand for leadership in humanitarian intervention, social construction and conflict management. Students from this program are committed to working in the realm of conflict analysis, human security issues faced by refugees and internally displaced persons including peacebuilding on national and international levels.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for research initiatives in Conflict Analysis, Human Security and Peacebuilding issues which plague Uganda. Students from the Royal Roads program will work with students from the School of Peace and Conflict studies at the Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda in April 2010.
This event is one opportunity to support local Nanaimo talent and the Uganda student research project. Doors open at 7pm.
