Tales for the Telling, Storytelling for Adults, is thrilled to be able to present Jan Andrews, one of the finest storytellers in Canada on our stage.
She will be performing her latest work, "Two Women of the Odyssey: Penelope and Nausicaa" which has been performed and recorded as part of the Storytellers of Canada StorySave project.
Jan Andrews, a founding member of the Storytellers of Canada, was awarded their prestigious StoryKeeper Award in 2014.
Jan does not travel to western Canada frequently to perform, so this is a rare opportunity for you to hear this fine storyteller who has performed around the world. She has graced the stages of Australia, England, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, the United States, and Canada and has frequently performed at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
It is a real treat for us to have her tell us stories in Oceanside.
You may purchase tickets for this performance at the McMillan Arts Centre in Parksville, at the door, or on-line from eventbrite.ca.
