Are you ready for delicious drinks, amazing appies, and fantastic friends? I can�t promise this year�s TwestivalYYJ will be alliteration free, but I can almost guarantee you will have a good time, meet some great folks, and help a worthy local charity.

We�ve got a venue for this event � The Bengal Lounge at the Empress!

If you haven�t had the chance to visit The Bengal Lounge, be prepared for outstanding service and delicious treats. If you�ve been there before, you know how excited we are that the Empress has agreed to give us exclusive use of this room. The only people in the room will be Twestival participants, so make sure you get your ticket early - they are going to sell quickly.

There will be a wine station, featuring wines from all over the world, ranging from the affordable to the decadent. A sommelier will be present, to help you find the right pairing. If you are an aspiring oenophile, we�ve got you covered!

There will be a beer station available, with an impressive selection of locally crafted beers from a local brewer. Barley and hops in perfect proportions.

With a dessert buffet chock full �o goodness from the award winning pastry chef D�oyen Christie, be prepared to satisfy your craving for deliciousness. Warning, apparently drinking directly from the chocolate fountain is a faux pas. There will be a chocolate fountain, so please enjoy it on my behalf.

Master mixologists making maddeningly mouth-watering martinis (yeah, sorry �bout that) � and if you aren�t a martini fan, they�re pretty good at making cocktails, too.

Try to pace yourself so that you can break away from the tasty treats and check out the goodies available at the silent auction � we�ve had incredible support from local vendors, quickly offering up outstanding packages to help us raise funds for our selected charities.

We�ve still got a few details to work out for this venue, but I can tell you that there will be at least one other station � and it will likely involve potatoes!

*****Update*** we know you've been eagerly awaiting this announcement - so here it is!!! There will be a ....wait for it.....POUTINE BAR!!! That's right, delicious, award-winning Empress poutine served in a martini glass. This evening is one of decadence and delight!
