Downtown businesses are taking initiative this fall and TURNING DOWN THE HEAT! Participating businesses will be collecting warm items to donate to the Nanaimo Men's Centre and Nanaimo Women's Centre.
Customers and staff are encouraged to bring in warm items, turn down their thermostats and wear sweaters the week of October 23rd through to October 29th. Warm items include coats, sweaters, toques, mittens, etc. Bring in any of those items to the participating businesses below the week of October 23rd to October 29th.
Don't forget to wear your sweater
