Couples seeking something more meaningful than simply ‘a romantic dinner for two’ on Valentine’s Day are invited to explore an evening of self-discovery with True Colors for Couples, a romantic, fun and interactive workshop that will bring greater depth to their relationship.
“The evening is designed to deepen and enhance the bond between couples, by allowing them to discover their personality types, and the best way to communicate and nurture one another,” says workshop co-facilitator Kim Strynadka. “Not only will they give themselves the gift of a richerrelationship, based on what they learn, but we have also included a special champagne dinner with the evening. After all, Valentine’s Day is all about love.”
During the four-hour workshop, couples will explore and discover their own ‘love colour.’ Each color represents a different primary personality type, which lays the foundation of True Colors’ fun and insightful personality-identification system. Designed to uncover key social information about yourself and others,
True Colors is a tool that fosters an environment of understanding and collaboration. “The True Colors methodology helps individuals understand how different personality types best interact with each other,” says Lee Odgers, workshop co-facilitator and Strynadka’s husband. “We really take couples through a self-discovery process, to not only find their true colour, but also how to communicate lovingly as a couple… Understanding this dynamic can be very powerful.” Properly engaged individuals are the most competent and confident versions of themselves, allowing for deeper and more meaningful relationships. The couple has learned this first-hand, each through a life-long pursuit of self-discovery and personal development. The couple met at a Pursuit of Excellence seminar in 2017 and were married a year later. “You don’t get married at 50 years old for the first time if he isn’t THE ONE!” says Strynadka. “We speak the same language and have done so much personal development work together that we communicate very well, which is why we would like to introduce this profound tool to other couples. I’m so excited enjoy a Valentine’s dinner and interactive show with a dynamic group of like-minded people.”
Adds Odgers, “Our system takes the most important concepts presented in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and distills them into a user-friendly, fun, and—most important—practical tool. What better treat for the person you love on Valentine’s Day?”
