San Francisco�s Trio Garufa performs tango, Nuevo and folk music of Argentina. They are the best known tango concert and dance group in the US and highly followed in Beunos Aries. The trio will play works for tango trio with strings with the Emily Carr String Quartet of Victoria. The String Quartet was nominated for the 2012 classical recording of the year at the Western Canadian music awards. Performing with Trio Garufa are Montreal dancers Gabriel and Hinda who have performed tango at Festivals in Eastern Canada and the USA. This is their first visit to Western Canada.
