Learn how to build a 10' lapstrake acorn dinghy at the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre. Our Lapstrake Boatbuilding Course runs for 8 days (Sunday to Sunday) and offers a hands-on approach to traditional wooden boat construction. The course will be instructed by Shipwright Eric Sandilands and requires a minimum of four and maximum of six pupils.

Cost: $875 (plus GST) + $30 membership fee
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.
The remainder is due one month prior to the course start date.
