Experience world class classical music with "Township Classics," a classical music house concert series set in Esquimalt’s tranquil and historic English Inn.

Seating is limited to 80 persons, so reserve now; send your email to [email protected] with subject line townshipclassics, and indicate the number of people in your party, and your name, address, and phone number as contact info.

Attendance is by donation. All proceeds go directly to support arts and music programmes for youth. A no-host bar will be available before the concert and at intermission.

Piano Quintet in A Major, D 667 by Franz Schubert

"The Trout Quintet"

Franz Schubert composed this work in 1819, when he was 22 years old. it was not published, however, until 1829, a year after his death.

Rather than the usual piano quintet lineup of piano and string quartet, Schubert's piece is written for piano, violin, viola, cello and bass.
