Town Hall with Dr. Andrew Weaver

Leader of the BC Green Party, Dr. Andrew Weaver, will be speaking at a town hall meeting on Friday, Nov 25th at the Lower Native Sons Hall, 360 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, starting at 7 pm.
“British Columbia has all the tools it needs to tackle climate change head on; we have the renewable resources required, and the innovative, creative, and inspired population to make it happen,” said Andrew Weaver. “The missing element is a government willing to demonstrate the leadership required to focus the efforts.”
Dr. Weaver is an internationally recognized climatologist and the MLA for Oak Bay – Gordon Head. During the town hall, he will address the topic, "Global Warming - Challenges and Solutions." The gathering is hosted by the Courtenay-Comox Greens (which include, Courtenay, Comox, and areas north to the Oyster River), and local Greens are in the process of finalizing their candidate for the upcoming Provincial Election next spring.
Organic refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.
