Fundamentals: As more travellers turn to review sites and social networks to research trips, communicate with businesses and share experiences, online reputation management has become a critical function for tourism businesses. In this free seminar for BC tourism operators, we show you how to build a positive online reputation by delivering remarkable experiences and acting on customer feedback. We explore ways to use social media to build awareness, increase customer satisfaction and attract more travellers.

Advanced: This seminar is best suited for tourism operators and destination marketing organizations that have participated in the Fundamentals of Online Reputation Management seminar or have a solid understanding of social media and wish to take activities to the next level. In this free seminar we build on the basics of the fundamentals seminar and show you how to use social media to strengthen and leverage your reputation. We explore additional social channels, discuss branding and visioning, and show you ways to build advocacy, resolve challenging situations and measure results. Both seminars are interactive and feature examples from the tourism industry, group discussion and exercises, and lots of practical tips and takeaways.
