Tour de Rock Fundraiser: Tour de Rath Lap Riding

Bring your bike (and helmet of course!) and come on down to Rathtrevor Beach to participate in Tour de Rath in support of Tour de Rock!

The Tour de Rock riders will be riding approximately 1000km when they make their journey for the kids in September. We SHOULD be able to work together to collectively complete the same distance. The outer loop of our campground is 800m which means we need to ride 1250 laps to reach our goal. That�s a lot of laps!

We begin on Monday, July 28 and will be recording laps until Saturday August 2.

But WAIT�that�s not all. Riding is just one of the challenges facing the TDR riders; raising money for the kids who need it most is a huge part of what the riders do leading up to the tour. Don�t you think we should help? We want to raise AT LEAST $1 per km the riders have to ride. If we raise at least $1000, RLC Park Services will match your donations!

So come on down, bring a few dollars, have a beautiful ride in Rathtrevor Park and help kids with cancer have a brighter future. Once you have successfully completed bike laps you must record your laps with staff at the Rathtrevor Beach Nature House during the day or the Rathtrevor Beach Gatehouse during the evenings.

Cost: By donation. Donations can be made anytime at the Rathtrevor Beach Nature House and Rathtrevor Beach Gatehouse and all donations will go to Tour de Rocks fundraising efforts for kids with cancer.

The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock raises money for pediatric cancer research and programs for children with a history of cancer. The Tour de Rock team cycles from one end of the Vancouver Island to the other, over 14 days, covering 1,000 kilometres.
