Cumberland classes will be every hour on Wednesday afternoons: 2pm, 3pm, 4 pm, 5 pm October 20-Dec29 (based on sign up)

With an array of styles and themes, Tot Rock is designed specifically for tots aged 2-4years to join with parents in nurturing key physical, social, and intellectual skills!
Bring you and your child closer emotionally while participating and learning together about how to build internal rhythm, pitch, tempo and beat, as well as emerging singing voice!

With this highly imaginative, interactive music program, you can watch your child improve dramatically in:
1. Building musical memory while practicing rhythm, beat, tonality and melody.
2. Improving his/her confidence through joy of learning, in a fun and encouraging "yes" environment where all children are supported for their creativity and participation.
3. Adapting key classroom skills, such as listening, following directions, turn-taking and sharing with other children in a social atmosphere

CLASS DETAILS:

Cost: BEST VALUE in early music programs in the valley! While other music classes range from $50-$100 for one course (10 sessions), Tot rock is totally unique in the valley and ONLY costs $36 dollars per 10 sessions! Not bad huh?

Time: Sessions are 1 hr long and go in cycles of 10 sessions over 10 weeks (meeting every Wednesday afternoon in Cumberland (Call to say which time works best for you) and soon here in Courtenay every Thursday)

Music props: A variety of instruments such as maracas, drums, bells, sandblocks, triangles, puppets, scarves, balls, a parachute, and more!

Music instructor: Emily Brule is a highly creative, caring and experienced baby music instructor who has gained her skills and training abroad working for Gymboree, the leader of early childhood development. It is with the same theory and ideology that Emily has created and nurtured Tot Rock to be the program it is today!
