Bring your toonies for a night of family fun at Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy’s Toonies for Tanzania, on Friday, Nov. 24, at 6:02 pm.

There are games and prizes for all ages, including a Kids’ Zone with carnival style games and an adult zone with desserts, games and a silent auction. There will also be a fun family event at the end of the evening for kids and parents together: smashing a car!

Event location is Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy, 1475 Noel Avenue in Comox.

All proceeds go towards the Grade 12’s missions trip to Tanzania to assist the work of Juma’s World.

--- Our Missions 12 class is planning their fifth annual missions trip to Tanzania, Africa in May 2018! In Tanzania, they will be working with Juma's World, an organization whose main goal is to transform Tanzanian communities and the lives of the orphans within them. There are a variety of activities they will undertake while in Tanzania: visiting schools and the villages around Tabora; distributing supplies; building and doing other jobs to help with the continuing construction of the Dream Center; playing with children and teaching a creative curriculum; encouraging local leaders with prayer and practical support; helping with the sponsorship program; basically, anything that Juma’s World needs with!
