Throughout the month of April at Hillside Avenue Moka House local artist Toni Micol will exhibit a series of abstract paintings entitled an "Explosion of Colour". Free community event and suitable for all ages and family members.

Born in London, England, Toni studied art and design and spent several years working in the London fashion business, which influenced her love of colour and form. Having travelled extensively in Europe, her work was also influenced by the landscapes of Italy, Spain and France. Some of her impressionistic paintings have been exhibited in London. Since moving to Victoria, she has been influenced by the magnificent West Coast scenery and now enjoys using these images to create abstract concepts in addition to her earlier styles.
