East Coast music meets West Coast Rock

TOM MORRISSEY BAND WAS FORMED IN 2004. Tom Morrissey is from a town called Mount Pearl, on the island of Newfoundland. He grew up in a musical family - the only son of the late great Joan Morrissey - Newfoundland’s “first lady of song.” Tom has been a musician for 35 years and plays many instruments but guitar and singing are his passion. He carries on the tradition of his mother bringing East Coast music all across North America. Tom now lives on vancouver island BC. The Tom Morrissey Band recorded their debut cd. “Island Man” – a blend of rock with East Coast music. Tom wrote 6 of the 10 tracks the CD and displays a fun rockin’ sense of humor with an East Coast flair. And a live CD of covers was also recorded in 2009. members of the band that appear with Tom Morrissey. John Paul Kelly on Mandolin, Ian Todd on Bass Guitar, Dale Adams on Bass Guitar, Lance ALLARD ON drums, Sherry Clayton on Drums, Andy Russell on accordion.
