Tom Morrissey Band was formed in 2004. Tom Morrissey is from a town called Mount Pearl, on the island of Newfoundland. He grew up in a musical family - the only son of the late great Joan Morrissey - Newfoundland’s “first lady of song.” Tom has been a musician for 30 years and plays many instruments but guitar and singing are his passion. He carries on the tradition of his mother bringing East Coast music all across North America. Tom now lives on Vancouver Island , BC. The Tom Morrissey Band recorded their debut cd. “Island Man” – a blend of rock with East Coast music. Tom wrote 6 of the 10 tracks the CD displays a fun rockin’ sense of humor with an East Coast flair. And a live CD of covers recorded in 2009

After she caught him skipping Boy Scouts for the sixth time, Dale's mother made the fatal error of forcing him to take guitar lessons..He was put on probation, so logically he quit guitar lessons and started a band! Dale's older sister thought of a name for the teenage band… "Idiots". His father's country and western records were a big influence, prompting Dale to play psychedelic 60's music. Fortunately, his brother's Hawaiian guitar stylings also influenced him to try other types of music. Dale has played in kitchens all across Western Canada.

Lance Allard is a drummer from Edmonton, Alberta. A former music store owner and session musician he jumped into the Tom Morrissey band full tilt bringing his style of jazz, blues and rock matching Tom Morrissey's east coast style.
