This is a day of scuba diving and an evening social. Saturday night at the Nanaimo Museum, 100 Museum Way from 7:00pm to 9:00..

Social Tickets must be purchased in advance as there is a no-host bar.
Admission: $10

Dive into tapas, non-alcoholic beverages, chances to win door prizes and to participate in the silent auction.

Try the token key you found on your dive on the treasure chest containing the Citizen watch!

Details:

All day Saturday divers will be encouraged to dive at Tyee Cove, Madrona Point and the Saskatchewan, Cape Breton and Rivtow Lion artificial reefs. Tokens will be placed at the Madrona Point and Tyee Cove dive sites that later can be redeemed for an event key. One of these keys will open the treasure chest to unlock the fabled dive watch.

*In 1997 & 2001 tokens were placed on the Cape Breton and Saskatchewan artificial reefs. These tokens were placed in order for divers to treasure hunt and exchange for dive watches donated by Bob Fenty. To date the watches haven�t been found. The event �Time to Surface� brings these treasured watches to the top and gives divers a chance to celebrate their passion.

Raffle tickets for additional prizes can be purchased in advance (at the three Nanaimo dive shops or Crimson Coast Dance Society) or at the event.

Raffle Tickets are $5/each or 3 for $10.

1st Prize: One Citizen Solar Powered Dive Watch
2nd Prize: 3 night stay at Browning Pass Hideaway
3rd Prize: Suite at Coast Bastion Hotel and dinner for 2 at Acme Food Co.
4th Prize: Weekend for 2 at Howard Johnson Hotel in Victoria
5th Prize: NT Jewellery Country Club Mall gift certificate

Proceeds from this event go towards supporting the Crimson Coast Dance Society who bring fun things to Nanaimo above the surface all year long.
