Well known at the Moss Street Paint-In, various regional shows, and the Federation of Canadian Artists these artists offer their latest work. Each artist has developed a unique style, with the confident strokes of master painters. The rich tapestry of West Coast forest, ocean and mountains not only inspire these artists to paint what they see, they are active in sailing, kayaking, beachcombing, and hiking. Their impressions capture the essence of our dramatic landscape. Lisa Riehl fragments the image into points of light, Linda Skalenda expresses the warmth of afternoon light in her paintings of trees, and Peggy foreshortens the depth in her perception of space.
