Although there is universal agreement that we live at a time of monumental and unprecedented change, there is little agreement about the nature of this change and its direction. The Bahá’í Faith offers profound insights about the underlying dynamics of this change and its ultimate outcome—a global civilization of peace. Based on these insights, the talk focuses on the psychological, social, economic, and spiritual aspects of the changes we are observing in our world.
Specific suggestions are offered on how each of us can prepare ourselves, and help our respective communities, to deal with the changes, crises, and opportunities of our time in a most effective and creative manner. Dr Danesh, a retired professor of conflict resolution, peace education and psychiatry, is an accomplished speaker and the creator of the internationally acclaimed Education for Peace Program.
