the Woolgatherers are dedicated fibre artists who strive to encourage new learners. elevate the standards of weaving, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and related fiber arts and promote public interest and appreciation of the fiber arts. Their annual sale not only offers handmade items for purchase but also provides an educational component through hands on demonstrations of various skills.
In order to have a bit of variety we invite non member participation. This year we are pleased to have Bruce Matthews a Wood turner from Denman Island and Jeannette Roberts, a supplier of colourful rovings and yarn. The local Soroptomists will be on hand to hightlight their programs and services to wormen.
Admission if free. Refreshments available for a small charge.
