The Gabriola Woodworkers Guild is hosting their annual event, The Wood Show, the second weekend of August at the Gabriola Arts & Heritage Centre.

Exhibits inside, including an installation of works made by students throughout the year, new work by seasoned and new woodworkers, an outdoor market, demonstrations, and a chance to vote for the People's Choice Award.

An easy walk, ok there's a hill, from the ferry, and on Saturday, right across the street, is the Agi Co-op Saturday Farmer's Market from 10-2pm. It is well worth the trip over to Gabriola to see some amazing woodworking and enjoy our tiny island.
