The Village Project: Journey of Our Generation
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Cultural Connections has a story to share about reconciliation and the journey of working together, getting to know each other and trying to understand. It is a journey of highs and lows, that can stir up emotions, teach us hard lessons and offer us beautiful gifts. You will travel through the story of the first 145 years of Canada’s history from colonization into this era of reconciliation and you decide - Where do we go from here?
This experiential workshop is facilitated by Cowichan Elders, some of whom are Residential School Survivors, Day School Survivors, Inter-Generational Survivors, who are working together with Canadians. Each member of the team represents a part of this story, a part of the healing, and is committed to creating a new journey for generations to come. We want to invite you to be a part of this journey.
