Multifaceted American jazz pianist-composer Emmet Cohen is one of the most highly pivotal figures in music today. This Harlem-based piano phenomenon, a member of Christian McBride's trio "Tip City," the "Herlin Riley Quartet," and the "Ali Jackson Trio," swings through Victoria with his all-star trio featuring Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s bassist, Russell Hall, and drummer Kyle Poole, who recently toured with Cecile McLorin Salvant. They return to Hermann’s Jazz Club for a second time this year in one musical evening of exceptional style and cool, timeless jazz.
