The Tragically Hip Farewell Show - Ride to Conquer Cancer BBQ & Silent Auction

One of Brannen Lake's own will be participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 200km 2-day cycling event on August 27-28th, 2016 with a vision of a world free from cancer.
We are hosting a fundraising BBQ and silent auction in honour of Canada's National Treasure Gord Downie, The Tragically Hip's front man who is saying farewell due to terminal brain cancer.
We will be showing the farewell show on our projection screen in our shelter area and raising funds for the Ride to Conquer Cancer with a BBQ. The show will air on CBC starting at 5:30pm PST and will run until approximately 8pm.
The BBQ will start at 4:30pm and run until the end of the show. We will also be having a silent auction table full of awesomeness that will have a cut-off time of approximately 8:30pm (to allow for a little time after the show ends).
