Jon and Roy are bringing their annual Holiday Special to the McPherson Playhouse for 2 nights. A festive tradition in Victoria now in its 10th year, it’s as much a part of the capital city’s Yuletide celebrations as the Empresses’ Christmas trees or the carol singers downtown. This revue type show offers four acts doing short sets followed by an intermission and headline set by Jon and Roy. Joining Jon and Roy are Current Swell performing an acoustic trio (Saturday performance only), Eric Earley of Blitzen Trapper, Hey Ocean acoustic trio (Friday performance only), Hannah Georgas and lo-fi-psychedelic Victoria rockers Loving round off the line up.
