The Super Heroes of Victoria and Hotel Zed: Walking Dead Premiere

Suit up in your best swimsuit or speedo and join the Super Heroes of Victoria and Hotel Zed to face your fear of the zombie apocalypse, all in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

On Sunday, Aug. 23, jump in the pool and swim instead of scream as Hotel Zed premieres the highly anticipated Fear The Walking Dead on an 80” screen, set up poolside thanks to SW Audio Visual. Settle your nerves with a cool drink provided by Vancouver Island Brewery (first drink is free; after that you have to fend off the zombies and other guests).

“Munchies” will also be available to all those who do not eat brains. Use of the “Zedinator” waterslide is encouraged.

Non-Profit Component: All proceeds from the premiere event will go to the Super Heroes of Victoria, a charity group initially dedicated to raising awareness for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and their, “Be a Superhero Campaign.” The Super Heroes of Victoria has now grown to support many other campaigns; such as Cops for Cancer, the MS Society and Easter Seals Drop Zone, as well as community events like the Victoria Film Festival and Times Colonist 10k and real community heroes such as the police, fire and rescue, and many others.

This event is just one in a series of activities ranging from family-oriented awareness functions to assisting full-blown campaigns, all done with a lot of our volunteers dressed as some of your favourite superheroes. For more information, visit http://superheroesofvictoria.org/
