You’re invited to attend a presentation by Dan Vaillancourt, on The Soul of Education. This presentation is the first in the 2015 – 2016 series of bi-monthly talks sponsored by the Victoria Bahá’í community, with the theme of Building the Future. This talk is really about education of the soul.  While educators continue to debate whether spiritual education should be included in the curriculum, children continue to bring their souls to school. 

This presentation will discuss the need for including spiritual education and nourishing the soul in our schools, whether public or private, and suggest ways that this can be done.  

Dan has been an educator for over 30 years and holds a Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction).  He has worked as administrator and teacher in a variety of public and private schools in Canada, Brazil, the USA and Greece.  He has facilitated workshops and presented at conferences on topics such as The Soul of Education, Multiple Intelligences, Holistic Education and Global Citizenship.
