Introducing to Nanaimo an exciting, newly formed band, the SHADOWCATS who will be playing at Simonholt, March 2nd, 7:30pm. The ShadowCats are Carole Caron (vocals), Rob Munn (harmonica), Ray Rosauro (guitar), Blake Gasena (bass) and Alex Rollheiser (drums). The band formed eight months ago but are all veterans of previous bands.
The Shadowcats have been busy creating a fresh and exciting set list with blues/rock/funk flavour. With influences of the likes of Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Joan Osborne, Canned Heat, Bill Withers, Eva Cassidy, Paul Butterfield and many others, the ShadowCats will keep you dancing and show you definite personality and spunk.
