Premiered in 2009 to rave reviews, BV is bringing back this original masterpiece.
Act one features mixed repertoire including a piece by Bruce Monk with music by Claude Debussy, a piece by Jacque Lemay, with music by Henry Mancini, and a new work by Gisele Plourde. Act two is a remount of Destrooper�s original creation premiered in 2009 and based on Michael Shamata�s interpretation of Burnett�s classic novel The Secret Garden. It will be performed to Hayden�s trios with Vancouver concert pianist Sara Hagen and a violinist and cellist.
