The 2017 Salt Spring National Art Prize invites you to an incredible series of events coinciding with the 2017 SSNAP Finalist Exhibition which runs from September 22 to October 22, 2017 Salt Spring Island, BC


49 Artists were chosen from across Canada by an independent jury for the Finalist Exhibition. All artist submissions were anonymous to the jury. SSNAP Offering awards totalling $30,000 Calendar of Events SSNAP Opening Gala

Wed. October 18 7:30pm I ArtSpring Theatre I $10 Based on the true story of Nova Scotia folk painter Maud Lewis, with Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke (a Salt Spring Film Festival screening) Tickets available shortly SSNAP Awards Night & Closing Gala


Sat. October 21 6:00pm I Mahon Hall I $15 Presentation of eight awards and the SSNAP 2017 closing celebration Stay tuned also for the calendar of finalist artist talks taking place throughout the exhibition. Artist talks are free with admission.
