The Riverside returns to Moby’s Pub on April 10. They will rock the house and fill the dance floor!
Featuring Aidan Miller (piano, vocals); Tom Hooper (guitar, bass, vocals); and Matt Johnson (drums, vocals).
Three heads are better than...well you know the saying. Formed during the summer of 2013 in Victoria BC, this trio quickly realized their common love of all things classic.
Tom and Matt are veterans of the Canadian music scene and still perform and record with their respective bands THE GRAPES of WRATH and 54-40. Aidan hails from the Niagara region and is considered one of the brightest up and coming piano player / vocalists in the country.
Aidan, Tom and Matt lay it down with a spectacular repertoire that includes classics from the 60s and 70s (THE BAND ,ELTON JOHN, MARVIN GAYE) to more contemporary classics ( PRINCE, TOM PETTY, MGMT, DAFT PUNK). Their unique interpretations, interspersed with stunning piano solos, harmonies and solid dance floor grooves will keep music fans wanting more and more!
They are currently writing and recording their first album together as a trio....Don't be surprised to hear them sneak a few of these new songs into their current repertoire.
