The River Run

The 4th Annual River Run is a fundraising event for Mid Vancouver Island Habitat Enhancement Society ( www.mvihes.bc.ca) . Held each year on the 2nd Sunday in June, it is an opportunity to get out and support a local environmental group and enjoy the Englishman River Regional Park . The run takes place in the park by the hatchery and will lead you through several of the trails, so you will have an opportunity to connect with nature and add to your health as well.
The trails are well marked and the race offers a 10 K run (with a pretty big hill!!),
as well as a 5K run for us beginners and a 5K walk for those of us who are just starting out and so the kids can come with your family. Lots of fun for everyone!!
