Join the UVic Centre on Aging for their International Day of Older Persons Lecture, “The Quest for Longevity Genes”, by Dr. Ed Ishiguro. Long lifespans occur in some families, raising the possibility that longevity may be an inherited trait. How do we identify genes that influence lifespan? How does this information improve our understanding of aging?
Wednesday, October 1st, 1:30 to 3:45PM at the Salvation Army Victoria Citadel, 4030 Douglas Street, off McKenzie Avenue by Christmas Hill.
This free event is open to everyone. To register or for more information, call the Centre on Aging 250-721-6369 or email [email protected].
