Join Annie Rousseau for a weekend painting retreat at the beautiful Bethlehem Center in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Bethlehem Centre is centrally located on beautiful Vancouver Island and boasts a picturesque setting at the foot of Mount Benson on the beautiful shores of Westwood Lake. The wooded setting with gardens, a pond and labyrinth inspire deep tranquillity and personal reflection.

Our focus this weekend will be on creative process, with an emphasis on the journey rather than on the finished work of art. In a studio environment free of judgement and critique, we’ll invite you to paint without a plan and trust your spontaneous nature. The results are unexpected and intriguing — very often a wild vein of passion is awakened within you that will not go back to sleep long after the workshop has ended.
