Ring in the Spring with an evening entertained by the Nanaimo Musicians' Association Big Band led by its founder Bryan Stovell.
Quadwrangle Music is very pleased to present this nineteen piece band, whose musical prowess is well known in Western Canada and beyond and will take us through a repertoire of compositions from 1930's to the Modern age.
This legendary big band which has been in existence close to six decades and through all these years led by its original founder Bryan Stovell, has seen passing through its personnel some of Canada's finest jazz players including Phil Dwyer, Ingrid and Christine Jensen and more recently Kenton Willem, Jesse Marshall and Graham Villlette etc. who are keeping the spirit of jazz alive in Canada!
We will be recording this band with a live album in view so the Band is well rehearsed and ready!
