Quadwrangle Music is very excited to announce that Kirk Macdonald and Harold Mabern will be playing in Nanaimo as part of their West Coast tour. Featuring Kieran Overs (bass) and Jesse Cahill (drums) this Quartet presents the state of the art of Canadian and US jazz.
These seasoned players have appeared with among many other jazz icons, Wes Montgomery,Freddie Hubbard, Jackie McLean, Hank Mobley, Blue Mitchell, Claude Ranger, Sam Noto, Sonny Greenwich, Kenny Wheeler, Eddie Henderson, Walter Bishop Jr. Peter Bernstein, Pat LaBarbera, John Taylor, Ron McClure, Jack DeJohnette, Mike Stern, etc. etc.
Tickets are $35.00, (students $20.00) and will be available shortly. Given that the Lighthouse is a small room, we are recommending you reserve your tickets early for this one, Tickets are available at the Lighthouse Bistro (250) 754-3212, Fascinating Rhythm (Nanaimo) and Arbutus Music.
