The 2018 Pacific Baroque Festival of Victoria, presents La Modestine, performing sumptuous French baroque music in celebration of the 350th birthday of Francois Couperin, the greatest of French baroque composers. La Modestine is a chamber music ensemble formed by four world renowned musicians with a love of playing music of the 17th and 18th centuries together. The members bring a wealth of international experience to playing this enchanting repertoire on period instruments.
The concert takes place on Saturday, Feb. 10th, 7:30 pm at Knox United Church in Parksville. Tickets are $25 Adults; $20 Seniors & Students and are available at Mulberrybush Book Stores or online at http://pacbaroque.com.
