Quadwrangle music is very pleased to announce that the Jennifer Scott Quintet featuring Jennifer Scott (voice), David Sikula (guitar), Nick Peck (keyboard), Rene Worst (bass) and Bernie Aria (drums) will be performing in a very special event, Sunday June 23rd, 7:30pm at the Simonholt Restaurant. Jennifer will be unveiling some new songs for a Live Album recording for release early next year.
For those who may not know, Jennifer is considered by the jazz world to be one of the finest Jazz Vocal Improvisers in North America and a highly respected songwriter in her own right. Jennifer has performed with the likes of Gene Bertoncini, Clark Terry, Tommy Banks, Paul Horn and Kenny Wheeler, just to name a few. She has been nominated for Juno and Jessie Awards with ‘Mythos’ and theatre production ‘War of the Worlds’. She has also appeared on many CBC recordings and has worked with many other musicians both live and in studio. A hugely talented performer!
