The play, written by Ferenc Molnar, one of Hungary’s most acclaimed playwrights tells the story of Victor, a great actor and jealous husband in his pursuit to prove that his wife - another great actor, and the other half of the power couple of their time has been unfaithful to him. Hilarity ensues as Victor impersonates a guardsman with whom he is sure his wife will fall in love, during his time away for work.
