Save the date and your old Jack-o'Lanterns. We've got some creative ways to get rid of your old Pumpkins.
Alair Homes and the Nanaimo Science & Sustainability Society will be offering some fun ways to get rid of your pumpkins including Trebuchets that will fling your pumpkin upwards of 150+ feet!
WHERE? The Great Pumpkin Toss will take place around Meadow Creek Community Park (behind the East Wellington Firehall off of Jingle Pot Road) .
WHY? Donations are being accepted that will go to two great organizations: The Nanaimo Science & Sustainability Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
WHO SHOULD COME? This will be a great family event! A small concession will be on hand offering hot drinks and hotdogs (by donation) with lots of great spectating.
