This summer, the Maritime Museum of BC explores the issue of marine debris and ocean plastic with our Great Pacific Garbage Patch Exhibit! Join us on Wednesday, May 1 for the summer launch event of the exhibit.
Come take in the exhibit in a unique after hours experience including a bar and hors d'oeuvres. Chat with local vendors who are working hard to target the problem in our community, followed by live music. The keynote speakers are Karen Wristen from the Living Oceans Society and Mathilde Gordon and Daniel Greenwood, two young activists who advocate for plastic-free lifestyles and reframing the face of adventure.
