The world famous Big Band finally returns to perform at the Royal Theatre

Victoria, May 10, 2010 � The greatest big band of all time, the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra, will perform one night only in Victoria on their way to a US tour. The orchestra won�t play in Vancouver in 2010, so Victoria will be the only place in B.C. this year where you can hear timeless classics like In the Mood, Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, String of Pearls and Tuxedo Junction back to the stage. For sure Glenn Miller�s music is alive and well... And it sells out each time the orchestra plays the Royal Theater!

On August the 2nd, over 20 musicians and singers will bring the unforgettable Glenn Miller sound to the Royal Theatre performing those songs that everyone remembers... This is a show not to miss for jazz and swing fans alike or the incurable romantics who want to step back in time. The legendary Glenn Miller was the most successful of all the dance bandleaders back in the Swing era of the 1930s and '40s.

Spectra and producer Didier Morissonneau are proud to bring, for the fifth time, the most famous orchestra of all time to the Victoria music scene, to perform all their greatest hits !
